Theodore Augustine
pseud. Tadeusz Twardowski (born April 17, 1895 in Rozbarku k.Bytomia, died. November 6, 1963) - partic ipant in the Silesian uprisings Montelupich prison inmate in Krak ow, the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, No. 6164, in Mauthausen No. 117,524, the sub-camp in Melk, Ebensee sub-camp of . In his youth he worked in the mining, then in metallurgy. In 1915, he was drafted into the German army. He was wounded twice, with the result that he was released from the army in 1917 and returned to work in industry. In 1919, he organized a POW in Upper Silesia in Bytom Rozbarku and, in places of organized fighting units.
